Our Story
Mission Statement
Elysian Fields came to fruition because we first and foremost wanted to honor God with the land provided to us. We want to produce quality, healthy and sustainable food for our family and yours. While keeping our faith at the forefront of our mission we strive to foster a connection and respect between people, animals and the land.

Hi, we are Sean and Natalie! Elysian Fields began as a dream Sean had years ago. Throughout our marriage, Sean had been on the hunt for the perfect property. In 2020, he found it nestled on the boarder of Illinois and Iowa. The land was untouched and ripe for dreams becoming a reality. As Sean began to check out the property, his vision for the land grew.
Sean has planted chestnut and fruit trees in recent years and the hope is that these trees produce fruitful crops for years to come. The property has an abundance of oak and black walnut trees that we select cut for lumber.
There are many native wildflowers on the property that Sean maintains to support the honeybees bees and other local pollinators.
We started this journey to fuel our family with good food. We want to know where our food comes from, and we want to share good food with our family and friends. Our hope is that we can grow this operation in the coming years and provide even more provisions!
